Welcome to Jodi Marie Robinson's Blog. I live life in layers, thus, the title SPUMONI. I'm a wife, mother of four, speaker and author of the inspirational book entitled Women of Virtue. My firesides and presentations are based on gospel principles and inspire youth and women of all ages to believe in the power of virtue. Going on 12 years years, I have taught motivational and life-skills classes at House of Hope, a substance abuse treatment center in downtown Salt Lake City. It is a special privilege to rub shoulders with good women all over the valley. To the sweet and adorable 89-year-old sister Marv...you inspire me and show us all who we should aspire to be. FUNNY THINGS KIDS Say In Primary and Everywhere Else--Dedicated to "Tacey"

So, Sunday, in my Sunbeam class, I asked my four-year-old daughter this question: Who gives us our food and clothing?" She paused and then said, "Wal-Mart." Darn. I was hoping to have a quick lesson on being grateful to Heavenly Father for our blessings. I guess I need to do a better job teaching her where things REALLY come from. What a cutie! My heart beat proudly when my seven-year-old came running into the house with a fistfull of green bills profited from his cupcake and lemonade stand. "Now I have enough money to buy 'Bendaroos' and save the poor." --my seven-year-old son, Cody

My daughter Sydney badly wanted Grandma to buy her a stuffed animal. Grandma kindly said, "Not today." And Sydney said batting her eyelashes, "Grandma, Jesus really wants me to have it." --my daughter Sydney, at age 5

Cute little Samantha needed to go potty. I was helping another one of my Sunbeams wash her hands. I turned to see little Samantha's Sunday dress tucked into her tights in the back. "Sama....." She was already out the door. I hurried after her but wasn't fast enough. She made it all the way to drinking fountain and into the classroom. I just had to laugh. If only, as adults, we were that uninhibitted and care-free about those "not so flattering moments."
